Job Summary:
This position reports to the Centre for Engaged Inclusion (CEI) Director and is responsible for supporting the development of anti-bias, anti-racism, and inclusiveness trainings across the campus. This position will work closely with the CEI coordinator to engage faculty and staff in events related to DEI within the organization and support the growth of a diverse and inclusive campus. This position will participate in the organization and planning of activities designed to support initiatives to diversify, improve, and increase global and cultural competence within the campus community. This position will run all logistics coordination for the CEI, including but not limited to purchasing supplies & materials, catering, submitting internal requests, etc. This position will provide assistance to the CEI Coordinator with implementing DEI projects, policies, and practices across campus. Additionally, the position will be responsible for maintaining a robust resource library to support our faculty and staff in self-guided learning related to DEI topics.
Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community.

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Demonstrated experience planning/organizing events, trainings, or related activities
Demonstrated effective public speaking experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of gathering data
Demonstrated experience working with diverse students or populations

Preferred Qualifications:
Bi-or multilingual skills
Experience as a trainer in diversity, equity and inclusion
Demonstrated experience working in teams or independently
Demonstrated experience effectively interacting with multiple cultures, identities and generations.
