Student Readers provide both direct and indirect support to students with disabilities who work with the Center for Student Access. Direct support includes reading and scribing in both classroom and testing environments. Indirect support includes the production of electronic text and other alternative materials. As of 6/4/2024, this position has been filled - FT Professional Support-Coalition for College & Career Readiness Coordinator: This position reports to the Associate Vice President (AVP) and serves as a subject matter expert and resource for the C3R initiative. Working with the AVP, this position assists in establishing the vision and future direction for the coalition and its initiatives.
Student Employee - Peer Writing Assistant LCC Downtown Campus
The primary role of the Peer Writing Assistant (Peer WA) is to provide writing support to students across the college. Peer WAs will be assigned work in the Writing Center in which they will support student writers one-on-one, and occasionally in small groups, as well as possibly within English classroom settings.

Lansing Community College's Technical Careers Division seeks an Adjunct Instructor in their Building Construction Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for the instruction of Building Technologies course(s) in Interior Construction and/or Exterior Construction and/or Structural Framing. The successful candidate may also be required to teach classes in construction materials and methods, construction technologies, mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems, building information modeling, sustainable construction, energy management, and/or building commissioning.

Adjunct (part-time) faculty in this position teach courses in didactic and externship formats at all levels of Medical Insurance Billing & Coding (MBIC) training. Depending upon program needs and the candidate’s qualifications, teaching assignments will be primarily on LCC’s downtown Lansing campus with the possibility of other LCC campuses (Livingston, East, West), externship sites, and/or online assignments. An on-campus presence and traditional in-person teaching is required.
