Job Summary:
This position will provide leadership, oversight and management for the day-to-day operations of the Extension Centers, Lifelong Learning Program, and Divisional Operations within the Community Education and Workforce Development division (CEWD). This position oversees LCC’s East Campus in East Lansing, the Livingston County Center in Howell, and LCC Adult Enrichment and Youth Programs. Divisional Operations duties include the oversight of division-wide processes related to compliance and non-academic program review.
This position will serve as a member of the division’s leadership team. As such, they will collaborate with the Directors and Coordinators of CEWD to conduct market research to support instructional activities within the division. Vital attributes of this position include a demonstrated commitment to the diversity of a multi-cultural population, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment, seeking continuous improvement and adherence to the community college philosophy. On occasion and as directed by the Dean, this position may serve as Acting Dean in the Dean’s absence.
The primary location for this position is at East Campus located in East Lansing, MI. This position requires occasional travel to other campuses and locally within the tri-county area.
Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community.

Required Qualifications:
Master’s Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
Significant demonstrated experience in a managerial capacity
Significant demonstrated experience in managing staff and projects with increasingly responsible levels of accountability

Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in education, counseling, business, administration, or related field
Managerial experience in a higher education institution
