Job Summary:
This position will provide leadership, oversight, and management for the day–to-day operations of the Job Training and Centralized Services Department within the Community Education and Workforce Development (CEWD) division.
This position is responsible for the development, management, and administration of the Job Training Center. Activities include but are not limited to: enrollment management, research, design and development of new programs, budget and staff management, and Center management.
This position oversees the Centralized Services area in relation to instructional operations support, registration and enrollment management, and program delivery support services CEWD. This position will also utilize the divisional customer relationship management software to track program delivery and completion.
The Director will also collaborate with the Directors and Coordinators of CEWD to conduct continuous market research to support training activities within the division. Serves as a member of the division’s Leadership Team. Serves as the acting dean as directed by the Dean of CEWD in his/her absence, as well as other specific duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the Dean. Must demonstrate a commitment to the diversity of a multi-cultural population, as well as work effectively in a team-based environment, seeking continuous improvement and adherence to the community college philosophy.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required
Significant work experience in managing staff and projects with increasingly responsible levels of accountability
Significant and progressive work experience with team process management and team training
Significant and progressive work experience developing and/or leading competency based training

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s and/or higher degree in business and/or education related subject
Professional certifications related to training and development
Five (5) years of demonstrated experience in managing staff and projects with increasingly responsible levels of accountability
Three (3) years of demonstrated experience with team process management and team training
Three (3) years of demonstrated experience developing and/or leading competency based training
