Job Summary:

In collaboration with the Director of Risk Management and Legal Services, this position is responsible for the coordination of Risk Management and Legal Support Services for Lansing Community College by co-leading efforts in risk identification, risk control, risk finance, legal compliance and legal services oversight.

Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration or a related area, or the equivalent in education and experience.

Significant progressively responsible experience and knowledge in the management of Risk and Legal Services, including experience leading/managing Risk and Legal Services within a complex environment.

Demonstrated experience serving as a manager, consultant and/or advisor to decision makers or senior leadership in the areas of risk management, compliance and legal services.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration or related area.

Risk Management, Juris Doctor or other related advanced certification.

Previous experience working in a similar academic or other related public sector environment.
