The Nursing Program is seeking reliable and motivated student employees to help support our hands-on learning environments. Student Lab Assistants play an important role in keeping nursing labs organized, prepared, and ready for student success.
In this position, you will assist faculty by preparing and setting up labs for nursing classes, delivering supplies and equipment, and helping maintain an organized lab space. Responsibilities include restocking and tracking laboratory and linen inventory, making hospital beds according to professional standards, and tidying labs on a weekly basis. You will also help care for mannequins by cleaning them, ensuring they are in proper working condition, and returning them to the correct lab rooms. Any equipment concerns will be reported to the lab coordinator or Medical Locked Storage (MLS).
This position is a great opportunity to gain experience in a healthcare learning environment, develop organizational and teamwork skills, and support fellow nursing students in their education.
This position is for approximately 15 hours a week in the Health & Human Services (HHS) building on LCC’s main campus.
Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community.
Final candidates will be subject to a criminal background check as part of the employment process.
