Job Summary:
The Lead Support for the Center for Student Support (CSS) is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Center for Student Support. Duties include assisting the Associate Dean and other department leaders in a variety of activities such as events, workshops, and special event planning. The Lead Support provides clerical support for all departments within the Center for Student Support including the Center for Student Access (CSA), Fostering Stars, Counseling, Adult Resource Center, Student Life, and TRIO. The incumbent will assist the Associate Dean in monitoring budgets for the department programs, generating requisitions, and purchasing needs. The CSS Lead Support will support the Associate Dean in strategic planning of division and college-wide initiatives related to the Center for Student Support.
This position requires strong customer service skills, professionalism and the ability to think critically and respond to stressful situations effectively and with diplomacy.
Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community.

Required Qualifications:
Associate Degree in any major from an accredited institution of higher education or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated office support experience.
Demonstrated customer service experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience monitoring budget expenditures.
Demonstrated experience coordinating all aspects of events.
Supervisory or leadership experience.
