Job Summary:
This position will provide leadership, oversight, and management for the day–to-day operations of the Job Training Center within the Community Education and Workforce Development (CEWD) division.
This position is responsible for the development, management, and administration of the Job Training Center. Activities include but are not limited to: enrollment management, research, design and development of new programs, budget and staff management, and community partner management.
The Director will also collaborate with the Directors and Coordinators of CEWD to conduct continuous market research to support training activities within the division. Serves as a member of the division’s Leadership Team. Serves as the acting dean as directed by the Dean of CEWD in his/her absence, as well as other specific duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the Dean. Must demonstrate a commitment to the diversity of a multi-cultural population, as well as work effectively in a team-based environment, seeking continuous improvement and adherence to the community college philosophy.
Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated experience managing staff in leadership and/or supervisory roles
Significant work experience in managing team-based projects
Significant work experience developing, leading, and/or designing competency-based training programs

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s and/or higher degree in business and/or education
Professional certifications related to training and development
Proven experience administering grant funded programming
Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience in higher education
Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in managing staff and projects with increasingly responsible levels of accountability
