Job Summary:
Adjunct Positions are filled by semester on an as needed basis. Applicants in this applicant pool are reviewed when the department has an immediate need to fill a vacancy. Review of applications will then stop for the semester once the vacancy has been filled.

This position is provisional and partially funded by CCRESA. Its renewal is dependent on continued CCRESA funding. Incumbent will be scheduled for CCRESA courses before being offered any non-CCRESA courses.
The incumbent in this position will teach high school students within the college setting through the Clinton RESA in the area of Computer Information Technologies (CIT). In addition, the individual may teach courses in the Computer Information Technologies Program. Courses include, but are not limited to, Computer Support A+, Computer Information Systems, and Computer Support/Helpdesk. The individual will deliver CIT curriculum while utilizing best practices and web technologies to deliver instruction. The incumbent will also attend Clinton RESA in-service meetings, conduct student progress meetings with parents, maintain up-to-date State of Michigan curriculum quality documents (TRAC/CIP), attend award ceremonies, attend Career Day (Fall) and Pave Your Own Pathway Day (March), attend CIT program faculty meetings and meet requirements/responsibilities for part-time faculty per LCC-MAHE contract agreement. This is a weekday position that aligns with the Clinton RESA academic school calendar and will be held in Clinton County. If teaching Computer Information Technologies courses, it could involve daytime and evening instruction.
Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and minimum two (2) years’ experience in related field; OR Associate's Degree and minimum four (4) years’ experience in related field
Possess current industry certification in any of the following areas: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Technical Trainer Certification

Preferred Qualifications:
Possess current Industry certification in any of the following areas: Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA A+, and/or CompTIA Tech+ or willingness and ability to acquire said certification upon being hired.
Two (2) years’ experience teaching in higher education or experience in the business field as a trainer
Master’s Degree in Business, Education, and/or Computer related field.
