The Computer Information Technologies Program (CIT) is seeking a full-time faculty member to teach and coordinate CIT cybersecurity courses. These courses include, but are not limited to, Networking, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, Hardware troubleshooting, and CompTIA A+ consistent with current developments and teaching methods in the discipline. The faculty member will participate in program/department meetings and divisional/college-wide committees with a focus on continual improvement of programs and learning outcomes, and work closely with business and industry partners. Participate in curriculum and course development, course and program coordination, tutoring and advising students, mentoring and reviewing peers, and College initiatives. Must demonstrate a commitment to the diversity of a multi-cultural population, as well as work effectively in a team-based environment, seeking continuous improvement and adherence to the community college philosophy. The incumbent will also attend Clinton RESA in-service meetings, conduct student progress meetings with parents, maintain up-to-date State of Michigan curriculum quality documents (TRAC/CIP), and attend award ceremonies This is a 34-week position involving daytime, evening, and may include instruction of high school students within the college setting

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and minimum 2 years’ experience in related field; OR Associate's Degree and minimum 4 years’ experience in related field

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Business, Education, and Computer related field.

CompTIA A+ Certification

Networking + or Cisco Certified Networking Associates (CCNA)

Cisco Certified Academy Instructor for Cisco Certified Networking Associates (CCNA), or willingness and ability to acquire said certification upon being hired.

Two years’ experience teaching in higher education or experience in the business field as a trainer
