FT Support - Technical Careers Operations Support LCC West
Lansing Community College seeks a full-time Operations Support for its Technical Careers Division. The Technical Careers Operations Support provides high-level administrative support to the Associate Dean by managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling confidential communications supporting administrative, faculty, staff and student needs. They support special projects, oversees Tech Careers Division office operations, and ensures that tasks and deadlines are met in a timely and efficient manner. In addition, this position coordinates the division’s operation function regarding classroom issues, moves, renovations, furniture, equipment, signage, monitoring and maintenance of buildings and space used by the division, room request scheduling, telephones, computer upgrades, system access requests, web page maintenance, support for special events, and maintenance of key divisional inventory.
FT Lab Assistant - Advanced Manufacturing (ERESA) LCC West
Lansing Community College seeks a full-time Lab Assistant for its Advanced Manufacturing programs to work with ERESA students. Functions as the secondary source of instruction in the Mechatronics and Machining Labs to assist ERESA students in completing lab projects by providing necessary instruction. Provides evaluation of student performance as requested by the instructor of record. Ensures that the lab/workshop is set-up and prepared with all required tools and materials for the assigned class and planned instruction. Coordinates the maintenance of supplies, tools, equipment and facilities. In addition to the responsibilities listed above, Lab Assistants may be required to perform other duties as assigned in connection with the overall running of the Mechatronics and Precision Machining Programs. Incumbent will also perform a variety of instructional and routine duties related to the operation of the ERESA Career Pathway Mobile Labs. The Mobile Labs are dual axle enclosed trailers designed to provide career awareness, exploration and hands-on experiences focusing on students in grades K - 8 in the career areas of Manufacturing, Welding, Robotics, Automotive, Heavy Equipment, Aviation, and related fields.
