Job Summary:

Student employees in Mail & Receiving Services will perform the following job duties:

• Assist with sorting and delivery of mail and packages to downtown and other campus locations (e.g. LCC West, LCC East, etc.)
• Deliver boxes of paper and toner cartridges for College printers at all campuses (i.e. downtown and extension centers/campuses)
• Assist with the operation of mail machinery while processing bulk mailings
• Perform other job duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements for LCC Student Employment:

The primary purpose of student employment is to provide current LCC students with the opportunity to acquire job skills and experiences during semesters in which they are attending LCC classes as follows:
Enrolled and actively attending the following minimum LCC credit hours by semester:
     - Fall and/or Spring Semester(s) = 6.0 credits (taken over 16-week period minimum)
     - Summer Semester = 3.0 credits (taken over 8-week period minimum)
• 2.00 GPA minimum (unless it is the student's first semester of enrollment at LCC or approval to waive requirement is granted from the Student Employment Coordinator)
Note: International students (i.e. F-1 visa holders w/ valid I-20 issued by LCC) must meet the following minimum enrollment requirements each semester, in order to maintain employment eligibility per United States Citizenship & Immigration Services (USICS):
     - Fall and/or Spring Semester(s) = 12.0 credits (taken over 16-week period minimum)
     - Summer Semester = 3.0 credits (taken over 8-week period minimum)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3.00 GPA or higher
