PT Academic Professional - Writing Assistant - Writing Center LCC Downtown Campus
Professional Writing Assistants work directly with students (both in-person and online) to assist with writing projects in all areas of the curriculum and at any stage in the writing process. Professional Writing Assistants provide individualized assistance to students one-on-one, in small group settings, and within classroom environments that is consistent with current methods in the disciplines of writing center studies and college composition. Professional Writing Assistants also spend a portion of their work time staffing the front desk in the Writing Center and attending required meetings and trainings related to their work. They may be involved in projects related to the Writing Center, departmental, divisional or collegewide committee work, hiring committees, peer mentoring with Peer Writing Assistants (student employees) or other Professional Writing Assistants, and/or a variety of additional professional development activities. Professional Writing Assistants must demonstrate a commitment to promoting the success of a diverse, multicultural population, as well as an ability to work effectively in a team-based environment, seeking continuous improvement and adherence to the community college philosophy.
FT Admin - HR Benefits Coordinator LCC Downtown Campus
The HR Benefits Coordinator serves as the primary resource for employees on all benefits-related matters, including health, retirement, and tuition waiver programs. This role manages employee benefits enrollments, changes, and cancellations, maintains HR systems and portal content, and ensures compliance with COBRA, ACA, FMLA, and other applicable laws and regulations. The Benefit Coordinator also supports payroll accuracy, administers leaves of absence and accommodations, and collaborates with the Purchasing Department to maintain employee discounts and perks. Additionally, the position develops and delivers benefit communications, orientations, and resources to keep employees informed and engaged. The Benefit Coordinator evaluates and recommends process improvements, resolves system issues, and cross-trains within the HR department to provide coverage and support as needed. In collaboration with the HR Director of Total Compensation, the role administers retirement benefits, provides guidance on retirement elections and applications, and facilitates retirement orientations. This position requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a commitment to ensuring accurate, efficient, and compliant administration of employee benefits and related programs. Incumbents must have a demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately. This position is part of a four-person total compensation team with a two-person focus on benefits. An on-campus presence, 5 days/week is required.
FT Assistant Professor - Computer Information Technology LCC West
Lansing Community College's Technical Careers Division seeks two full-time instructors for their Computer Information Technology department. The Computer Information Technologies Program (CIT) is seeking a full-time faculty member to teach and coordinate CIT Computer Information Technology & Support courses. FT Admin - Experiential Learning Coordinator LCC West
The Experiential Learning Coordinator assists the division of Community Education & Workforce Development in developing and overseeing LCC’s range of experiential learning initiatives. The Coordinator will maintain current in best practices regarding Credit by Exam, Credit from Licensure/Certification, military transcripts, standardized exams, and other credit for experiential learning experiences.
FT Technical Specialist - Performing Arts Technician LCC Downtown Campus
Coordinate and provide technical and customer service support to facilitate the productions in Dart Auditorium (lighting, sound, rigging, and projection), and in other performance spaces and classrooms as assigned. Lead point of contact with other College divisions as well as outside groups to ensure safe and effective use of the auditorium. Help lead the work distribution of student employees, temporary technicians, and volunteers in the auditorium. Assist the Technical Director by functioning as the 2nd BERT representative for Dart Auditorium. Work with design and tech shop areas of Performing Arts in support of all Performing Arts productions. This full-time administrator position provides leadership, oversight, and management for the day-to-day operations of clinical experiences within the Community Health Services Education and Medical Assistant (CHSE/MEDA) Programs. They work collaboratively with the Program Director, faculty, healthcare agencies, and area hospitals to coordinate and maintain the highest caliber of practical training in the clinical environment. In partnership with the Program Director, the Clinical Coordinator actively recruits, develops, and maintains collaborative partnerships with external clinical affiliates and service providers.

The Lead Support for the Center for Student Support (CSS) is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Center for Student Support. Duties include assisting the Associate Dean and other department leaders in a variety of activities such as events, workshops, and special event planning. The Lead Support provides clerical support for all departments within the Center for Student Support including the Center for Student Access (CSA), Fostering Stars, Counseling, Adult Resource Center, Student Life, and TRIO.

The PT Technical PC Technician will be responsible for the support and maintenance of all computer workstations and related computer hardware on all campuses. This includes performing in-house maintenance on college owned computers, printers and other peripherals.
FT Academic Professional - School of Business Advisor (Temporary) LCC Downtown Campus
The School of Business Advisor reports to the Director of the School of Business. The School of Business Advisor will provide direct support in the development, progression and completion of students’ educational and career goals by providing academic and transfer advising. Support student success and program completion by creating “My Academic Pathways” (MAPs) with each student. Actively listen and respond to student needs and if needed, connect them to other wrap around services such as tutoring, success coaching, counseling, financial aid, etc. Support overall campus programs such as orientation, transfer and other related campus events. Duties may include evenings, occasional Saturdays, and work at extension centers and various off campus locations.

The Financial Aid Specialist will ensure efficient daily operations of Financial Aid office, including responding to high-volume student inquiries via phone and email. The specialist will also assist the Director of Financial Aid Technology and Compliance with the Return of Title IV Funds process, federal reporting, consortium agreements, development of training materials, and ID Theft prevention efforts (Responsible for identifying, investigating, and resolving cases of suspected identity fraud related to the financial aid process, collaborating with Registrar, Student Finance, and other departments, participating in the LCC ID Theft Committee, reviewing financial aid applications, supporting documentation, and student records for indicators of identity fraud and utilize LCC process for reporting).
Student Employee – Peer Tutor – Japanese 121 LCC Downtown Campus
Peer Tutors will work with the teaching faculty and professional tutors as assigned throughout the semester, engaging in student outreach, facilitating regularly scheduled study groups, participate in on-going tutor training sessions, and department wide meetings.
