PT Technical - PC Technician LCC Downtown Campus
The PT Technical PC Technician will be responsible for the support and maintenance of all computer workstations and related computer hardware on all campuses. This includes performing in-house maintenance on college owned computers, printers and other peripherals.
FT Academic Professional - School of Business Advisor (Temporary) LCC Downtown Campus
The School of Business Advisor reports to the Director of the School of Business. The School of Business Advisor will provide direct support in the development, progression and completion of students’ educational and career goals by providing academic and transfer advising. Support student success and program completion by creating “My Academic Pathways” (MAPs) with each student. Actively listen and respond to student needs and if needed, connect them to other wrap around services such as tutoring, success coaching, counseling, financial aid, etc. Support overall campus programs such as orientation, transfer and other related campus events. Duties may include evenings, occasional Saturdays, and work at extension centers and various off campus locations.
FT Professional Support - Financial Aid Specialist LCC Downtown Campus
The Financial Aid Specialist will ensure efficient daily operations of Financial Aid office, including responding to high-volume student inquiries via phone and email. The specialist will also assist the Director of Financial Aid Technology and Compliance with the Return of Title IV Funds process, federal reporting, consortium agreements, and the development of training materials.
Student Employee – Peer Tutor – Japanese 121 LCC Downtown Campus
Peer Tutors will work with the teaching faculty and professional tutors as assigned throughout the semester, engaging in student outreach, facilitating regularly scheduled study groups, participate in on-going tutor training sessions, and department wide meetings.
FT Assistant Professor - Electrical Utility/Lineworker Technology (Temporary) LCC West
Lansing Community College’s Technical Careers Division seeks a Temporary FT Assistant Professor for their Electrical Utility/Lineworker Technology program. The Full-Time Assistant Professor of Electrical Utility/Lineworker Technology is responsible for providing high-quality instruction and leadership within the Electrical Technology Program at Lansing Community College’s Great Lakes Center for Utility Training. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and effective instruction in both classroom and lab settings, focusing on climbing, construction, and maintenance of electrical lines, while maintaining an unwavering commitment to safety and student success. Participate in program/department meetings and divisional/college-wide committees with a focus on continual improvement of programs and learning outcomes. FT Admin - Coordinator of Nursing Simulation and Labs LCC Downtown Campus
The coordinator will work collaboratively with the Nursing Program Directors and faculty to coordinate and maintain the highest caliber of practical training in the simulation and nursing lab environment. They assist with the recruitment, orientation, training, and mentoring of simulation and lab faculty. They also design and assist programming of simulation scenarios. *This position requires an on-campus presence with little to no remote-work opportunities.
FT Admin - Transfer Specialist LCC Downtown Campus
The Transfer Specialist will focus on building relationships through engagement platforms used at the College to promote LCC as a transfer pathway, and will employ a student-centered approach. This position collaborates with programs, and other administrative offices throughout the College, to reduce barriers to transfer, and works to increase LCC’s enrollment through messaging and promotion of the transfer process.

Adjunct Instructor - Electrical Technology LCC West
Lansing Community College's Technical Careers Division seek an Adjunct Instructor for their Electrical Technology program. Electrical Technology Adjunct Instructors must be able to effectively communicate and demonstrate knowledge of specific technical skills within both the lab and classroom environment to a diverse student population. The successful candidate will be responsible for the instruction of Electrical Technology courses in one or more of the following areas depending upon qualifications: DC Theory, AC Theory (single phase and three-phase), Industrial Solid State Theory, Motors and Transformers, Motor Controls, Variable Frequency Drives, Programmable Logic Controllers, Human Machine Interfaces, Safety—including OSHA and NEC 70E, National Electrical Code, Residential Electrical Wiring and Low-voltage Wiring—including networking and Machine Vision Systems.

Adjunct Instructor - Electrical/Industrial/Construction Safety LCC West
Lansing Community College's Technical Careers Division seek an Adjunct Instructor for their Electrical/Industrial/Construction Safety Program. Several disciplines in the Trades Technology Department, including the Electrical Technology Program (ELTE), share a 100-level course in Industrial/Construction Safety. This course covers safety in the industrial workplace and on construction worksites and local, state and federal safety regulations. The focus of the course is on the prevention of accidents, but it also teaches the correct response if an accident should occur. First aid, CPR/AED and OSHA-30 certificates will be issued to students upon successful completion of the course.

This faculty member will teach courses in Manufacturing Engineering Technologies consistent with the evolving state of the discipline and accepted trends in teaching methods. This position requires a specific Quality and Metrology background in the manufacturing field. Additional skillsets in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and metallurgy and heat treatment are also desired. Ideal candidates would have a strong knowledge base in quality control and metrology as well as proficient operation of coordinate measuring machines and other metrological equipment.
