The Athletics Operations Specialist provides high-level administrative operational support to the Athletic Director and the athletic department, serving as a subject matter expert in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) regulations, Title IX, institutional compliance standards, and college policies.

FT Technical Specialist - Voice & Network Technician in LCC Downtown Campus

The “Voice and Network Technician” position at LCC will assist and lead in the troubleshooting, installing, and configuring of voice and network infrastructure and devices across multiple campus locations. Maximize equipment and system up-time through timely response and effective coordination with other ISS team members.

Head Coach - Volleyball in LCC Downtown Campus

The Head Volleyball Coach will support program recruiting and selection of student-athletes. The incumbent’s primary focus is on monitoring student athletes’ academic success, teaching the sport of volleyball and developing citizenship to ensure outstanding representation of the College.

FT Assistant Professor - Biology (Anatomy and Physiology) in LCC Downtown Campus

Teach courses in the Biology (Anatomy and Physiology) Program, consistent with current developments in the discipline and teaching methods. Participate in program/department meetings and divisional/college-wide committees with a focus on continual improvement of programs and learning outcomes. Participate in curriculum and course development, course and program coordination, tutoring and advising students, mentoring and reviewing peers, and actively participates in College initiatives. Must demonstrate a commitment to the diversity of a multi-cultural population, as well as work effectively in a team-based environment, seeking continuous improvement and adherence to the community college philosophy.

Assistant Coach - Baseball in LCC Downtown Campus

The assistant baseball coach will support program recruiting and selection of athletes for the sport of baseball. The incumbent will teach and monitor student-athletes progress in academics and athletics during their tenure at LCC.
