Job Summary:The Lifelong Learning Program - Adult Enrichment and Youth, is continually seeking Adjunct Faculty to develop and teach non-credit courses offered intermittently through the Community Education and Workforce Development Division (CEWD). The Lifelong Learning Program offers personal enrichment classes to students over the age of 18, as well as youth between the ages of 7 – 17. Lifelong Learning courses are primarily hands-on, interactive classes taught in face-to-face sessions. These short-term classes, which may be offered on an occasional basis, run at various times throughout the year. Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community. Final candidates will be subject to a criminal background check as part of the employment process. |
Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and/or teaching/training experience in one of the following subject areas: Artistic Welding, Artificial Intelligence, Botany/Horticulture, Human Anatomy, Pet Care/Animal Educator, Robotics, or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) |
Preferred Qualifications:Teaching and/or training experience in a K-12, college and/or corporate setting. |
