Job Summary:

Connecting to these values, the Dual Enrollment Specialist reports to the Director of Admissions and serves as a subject matter expert coordinating the implementation of the Strategic Enrollment Management plan and the K-12 Strategic Plan, specifically as it relates to the secondary to post-secondary transition pipeline. Additionally, the successful incumbent in this position will champion the College’s diversity initiatives to promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. While serving as the Dual Enrollment Specialist, this position will support high school students and parents, school personnel, and external community partners by being the driving force behind guiding students through the dual enrollment process and then through matriculation to LCC for post-secondary attainment. This position works collaboratively with the Admissions Counselors, coordinators in K-12 Operations, as well as internal and external partners to executive various transition activities for students matriculating to Lansing Community College.
Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Resource Management, Social Work, Business, or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.
Experience providing support to students, developing business, community and K-12 partnerships, or similar activities.
Experience leading projects or committees across divisions, departments, or multiple areas
Experience gathering data and creating reports, working with advanced computer software, creating written materials, and working with the public.
Experience with computer software used at the College (Windows, word processing, spreadsheets, databases, room scheduler, student systems, web software, flowcharting software).
Must be able to travel for work and possess a valid driver’s license.
