Adjunct Positions are filled by semester on an as needed basis. Applicants in this applicant pool are reviewed when the department has an immediate need to fill a vacancy. Review of applications will then stop for the semester once the vacancy has been filled.
Adjunct (part-time) faculty to teach in Music. Participate in program/department meetings and divisional/college-wide committees with a focus on continual improvement of programs and learning outcomes. Participate in curriculum and course development, course and program coordination, tutoring and advising students, mentoring and reviewing peers, and actively participate in College initiatives. Participate in student assessment initiatives within the program and college, and implement the determinations of those initiatives. Must demonstrate a commitment to the diversity of a multi-cultural population, as well as work effectively in a team-based environment, seeking continuous improvement and adherence to the community college philosophy. Must demonstrate a fluency with software such as Ableton Live, Logic Pro, and Pro Tools as well as current activity in the Music Industry.
Master's Degree in Music from a regionally accredited college or university; or Master's Degree in a related field (from a regionally accredited college or university) with a minimum of 18 semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) of graduate-level coursework in Music.
Bachelor's Degree in Music or related from a regionally accredited college or university plus 2 years of professional experience; or Associate's Degree in Music or related from a regionally accredited college or university plus 4 years of professional experience; or 6 years of professional experience.

Experience teaching at a college level (may include graduate teaching assistant)
Experience with songwriting, arranging, and/or scoring for multi-media
Experience performing/accompanying in contemporary styles
Experience building and maintaining a home studio
