Job Summary:

This position reports to the Cesar Chavez Learning Center Director and is responsible for assisting with the delivery of activities to support college initiatives related to first-generation, non-traditional and under-represented students through the Cesar Chavez Learning Center (CCLC). This position will participate in the organization and planning of activities designed to support initiatives to diversify, improve, and increase global and cultural competence within the campus community.

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Excellent clerical and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Knowledge of evaluating and gathering data.

Demonstrated experience working with diverse students or populations to achieve problem resolution and enhance customer service.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bi-or multilingual skills

Demonstrated experience in college student programming or in a progressively responsible position in a similar field.

Demonstrated effective public speaking experience.

Ability to work in teams or independently

Ability to effectively interact with multiple cultures and generations.

Relevant college education and/or relevant experience in diversity, equity and inclusion programming.
