Job Summary:

This position oversees the operational planning, establishment, execution and evaluation of ongoing and sustainable digital and social media communications, producing relevant content on various social platforms towards targeted audiences. Oversees and provides guidance to LCC stakeholders contributing to content production. Ensures all online venues are updated and maintained consistently to ensure a positive online presence. Educates and trains LCC community on proper use of social media and online communications. Identifies Best Practices and serves as the subject matter expert on digital media and online content management. Must demonstrate a commitment to the diversity of a multi-cultural population, as well as work effectively in a team-based environment, seeking continuous improvement and adherence to the community college philosophy.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Journalism or related field; OR Associate Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Journalism or related field and three years of progressive experience with at least one year being professional experience; OR three years of progressive professional experience in marketing.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrated execution of marketing strategies on social media platforms.

Demonstrated experience executing digital marketing strategies – behavioral, geo-targeting, SEO, etc.

Demonstrated experience with content marketing.

Experience working with AP Style.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree.

Demonstrated experience in digital media strategy.

Progressive experience in Marketing, Advertising, Journalism or a related field; Three years professional experience.

Demonstrated experience planning, implementing, and measuring effective digital media campaigns.
