Student Employee - Electrical Technology LCC West
Lansing Community College's Technical Careers Division seeks a Student Employee for their Electrical Technology program. The primary purpose of student employment is to provide current LCC students with the opportunity to acquire job skills and experiences during semesters while actively attending classes at LCC. Student employees in Utility and Energy Systems Program will assist instructors and lab assistants during class times and help prepare and maintain the lab before and after classes. They will also assist with preparation of materials and other projects as needed by faculty and lab assistants.
FT Admin - Trades Technology Program Director LCC West
Lansing Community College's Technical Careers Division is seeking a full-time administrator for their Trades Technology Program areas. The Trades Technology Program Director is responsible for the Trades Technology (TT) programs including the Electrical program, Lineworker program, Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC) program, Architectural Technologies, Civil Technology, Building Construction, and Construction Management. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, oversight of Trades Technology programs with regard to instruction, facilitation of curriculum development, program review, ensuring compliance for all accredited program areas, scheduling faculty and courses, preparing budgets and monitoring expenditures. Also responsible for ensuring that equipment in the labs follow a safety and maintenance plan and obtain the necessary repairs, assist with identifying new equipment needs, and planning for acquisition of such.

FT Assistant Professor - Electrical Technology LCC West
Lansing Community College's Technical Careers Division seeks a full-time assistant professor for their Electrical Technology program. The ideal candidate will have an exceptional background in this field, possess excellent teaching skills, and be eager to inspire and mentor students. They will develop and deliver engaging and informative course content in Electrical Technology, create lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that meet program and industry standards. Provide hands-on training and practical demonstrations to enhance student learning. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking.
FT Professional Support - Manufacturing Engineering Technology (MET) LCC West
Lansing Community College's Technical Careers Division seeks a full-time professional support staff for their Manufacturing Engineering Technology department. This position is responsible for the daily operation of the Machining, Mechatronics, Robotics and CAD labs including but not limited to: Material handling, purchasing and maintaining lab consumables and supplies, equipment oversight and maintenance. This position is also responsible for annual equipment change out, maintaining vendor relations, organizing and maintaining cold storage, room safety and oversight, event coordination, staying current on the latest industry equipment, and providing oversight of work assignments/projects for the Part-time Lab Assistant and student employees.
