Lansing Community College's Technical Careers Division seeks an Adjunct Instructor and a Lab Instructor for their Police Academy. Adjunct and Lab Instructors at the Mid-Michigan Police Academy are responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in alignment with the standards set by the Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards (MCOLES). Applicants must be MCOLES certified or previously MCOLES certified and prepared to teach a broad range of law enforcement subjects, including but not limited to: Court Functions, Crime Scene Investigation (CSI), Legal Report Writing, Special Investigations, the Motor Vehicle Code (MVC), and Crash Reports/UD-10.

The Design and Construction Technologies Management (Construction Management) Adjunct is responsible for teaching courses that include such content as estimating, scheduling, construction project management, and construction contract law. The successful candidate may also be required to teach classes in construction materials and methods, construction technologies, mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems, building information modeling, sustainable construction, energy management, and/or building commissioning.
