Adjunct Instructor - Lineworker in LCC West

The Lineworker Adjunct Instructor must be able to effectively communicate and demonstrate knowledge of specific technical skills in climbing, construction and maintenance of electrical lines at the Great Lakes Center for Utility Training in both a lab and classroom environment to a diverse student population.

The Full-Time Assistant Professor of Electrical Utility/Lineworker Technology is responsible for providing high-quality instruction and leadership within the Electrical Technology Program at Lansing Community College’s Great Lakes Center for Utility Training. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and effective instruction in both classroom and lab settings, focusing on climbing, construction, and maintenance of electrical lines, while maintaining an unwavering commitment to safety and student success. Participate in program/department meetings and divisional/college-wide committees with a focus on continual improvement of programs and learning outcomes. Participate in curriculum and course development, course and program coordination, tutoring and advising students, mentoring and reviewing peers, and College initiatives.

FT Lab Assistant - Aviation Maintenance in Aviation Center

Lansing Community College's Technical Careers Division is seeking a Full Time Lab Assistant for their Aviation Maintenance program. Functions as the secondary source of instruction in the Aviation Maintenance Lab to support instruction provided by the instructor of record. Assists students in completing lab projects by providing necessary instruction. Provides evaluation of student performance as requested by the instructor of record. Ensures that the lab/workshop is set-up and prepared with all required tools and materials for the assigned class and planned instruction. Coordinates the maintenance of supplies, tools, equipment and facilities.

PT Lab Instructor - Total Fitness in LCC Downtown Campus

Total Fitness Lab Instructors play a key role in creating a safe, welcoming fitness environment. They oversee equipment use, support daily operations, maintain and inspect facilities, and help keep our fitness centers running smoothly on LCC's Main and West campuses. They also provide hands-on instruction working with small groups of students who are enrolled in LCC Fitness courses to deliver and assess the clinical application of fitness knowledge and skills. This is a hands-on, in-person role perfect for those who enjoy an active work setting.
