FT Admin - Arts and Sciences Divisional Project Coordinator in LCC Downtown Campus

The Arts and Sciences Divisional Project Coordinator will provide direction, coordination, implementation, execution, and successful completion of divisional and interdivisional projects. As a member of the Arts and Sciences Leadership Team, this position reports directly to the Dean of Arts & Science relative to the development and management of all tasks related to strategic planning and continuous improvement. A primary responsibility is to provide coordination and guidance to divisional staff and faculty and foster cross-departmental collaboration to advance divisional initiatives. Such initiatives include but are not limited to program improvement, student retention, program promotion, communication, divisional Standard Operating Procedures, and events. The position requires interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration across the institution and with division and college leadership. The Divisional Project Coordinator position will ensure the steady workflow of all project aspects such as development, planning, budget oversight, marketing, and close out reporting for the Arts & Science Division.

Student Employee – Peer Tutor – Aviation Technology in LCC Downtown Campus

Peer Tutors will work with the teaching faculty and professional tutors as assigned throughout the semester, engaging in student outreach, facilitating regularly scheduled study groups, participate in on-going tutor training sessions, and department wide meetings.

PT Lab Instructor - Total Fitness in LCC Downtown Campus

Total Fitness Lab Instructors play a key role in creating a safe, welcoming fitness environment. They oversee equipment use, support daily operations, maintain and inspect facilities, and help keep our fitness centers running smoothly on LCC's Main and West campuses. They also provide hands-on instruction working with small groups of students who are enrolled in LCC Fitness courses to deliver and assess the clinical application of fitness knowledge and skills. This is a hands-on, in-person role perfect for those who enjoy an active work setting.

The Music Program at Lansing Community College is seeking adjunct (part-time) faculty to teach Applied and Private Lessons for Percussion students. Faculty may have the opportunity to teach other courses in the Music Program. Participate in program/department meetings and divisional/college-wide committees with a focus on continual improvement of programs and learning outcomes. Participate in curriculum and course development, course and program coordination, tutoring and advising students, mentoring and reviewing peers, and College initiatives. Participate in student assessment initiatives within the program and college, and implement the determinations of those initiatives. PT Technical - Science Lab Technician in LCC Downtown Campus

​​This position provides support for the non-teaching portion of LCC Science Department laboratory courses, including Physical Sciences, Integrated Science, Biology, and Chemistry. Responsibilities include purchasing, repair, and laboratory set up of materials for these courses. This position must be familiar with basic science concepts and standard computer operations. Adherence to good laboratory practices (GLP’s), safe handling of material, and compliant disposal procedures is required. Campuses included are Downtown and East Campus.​
