Student Employee - Trades Technology BTAC Grant LCC West
Lansing Community College's Technical Careers Division seeks Student Employee's in their Trades Technology Program. Lansing Community College, in collaboration with Michigan State University and the Lansing School District, is excited to offer a unique opportunity through the Building Training and Assessment Center (BTAC). This program is designed to build and expand a knowledgeable and diverse energy workforce pipeline by educating and training college-level students in HVAC, energy systems, and related topics through a structured, hands-on educational experience. The goal is to provide students with real-world experience while making a measurable impact on local K-12 schools and small commercial buildings (under 50,000 square feet) by helping reduce their energy use, operational costs, and carbon footprint.

The Associate Controller serves as leadership in the accounting department, which includes the accounting and accounts payable sections and is responsible for managing daily operations and supervising staff. This position manages the transactional postings in the College ERP systems and verifies that all systems are in balance daily to ensure accurate data is reported.
Adjunct Instructor - Music Voice and/or Piano Instruction LCC Downtown Campus
The Music Program at Lansing Community College is seeking adjunct (part-time) faculty to teach Applied and Private Lessons to Voice and/or Piano students. Faculty may have the opportunity to teach other courses in the Music Program. Participate in program/department meetings and divisional/college-wide committees with a focus on continual improvement of programs and learning outcomes. Participate in curriculum and course development, course and program coordination, tutoring and advising students, mentoring and reviewing peers, and College initiatives. Participate in student assessment initiatives within the program and college, and implement the determinations of those initiatives. Must demonstrate a commitment to the diversity of a multi-cultural population, as well as work effectively in a team-based environment, seeking continuous improvement and adherence to the community college philosophy.
