Adjunct (part-time) faculty in this position teach courses in didactic and/or lab formats at all levels of Kinesiology, Exercise Science, and Health & Wellness training. Depending upon program needs and the candidate’s qualifications, teaching assignments will be primarily on LCC’s downtown Lansing campus with the possibility of West campus, East campus, St Johns-MI (Clinton County Campus), partnering High School Advantage locations, and/or online assignments. An on-campus presence and traditional in-person teaching is required.
Student employees in the Foundation Department will assist with advanced projects, tasks, events, and research as assigned. This position will also conduct operational tasks and assist with support functions, as skills and knowledge develop. Student employees will also assist with directing visitors, answering office phones, office cleaning, filing, scanning, and other Foundation Department needs.
The Lansing Community College Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Program, seeks highly experienced adjunct faculty able to teach courses and labs that will provide students with a working knowledge of the latest in heating, air conditioning and refrigeration systems, mechanical code, direct digital controls, sheet metal fabrication and other skills needed to compete in the industry. Teaching assignments may include daytime and/or evening hours.
The Corporate Training and Continuing Education Program seeks Adjunct Faculty to teach non-credit Court Electronic Operator (CEO) and Court Electronic Recorder (CER) Certification Exam Preparation courses through the Community Education and Workforce Development Division (CEWD).
