The Technical Careers Operations Support provides high-level administrative support to the Associate Dean by managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling confidential communications supporting administrative, faculty, staff and student needs. They support special projects, oversees Tech Careers Division office operations, and ensures that tasks and deadlines are met in a timely and efficient manner. In addition, this position coordinates the division’s operation function regarding classroom issues, moves, renovations, furniture, equipment, signage, monitoring and maintenance of buildings and space used by the division, room request scheduling, telephones, computer upgrades, system access requests, web page maintenance, support for special events, and maintenance of key divisional inventory. They work collaboratively with the Technical Careers Program Improvement Team, Program Directors and other departments to assist with program events, communications and data collection and conducts division/program tours. Serve on the divisional safety committee. Develops and implements office systems which ensure quality service and comply with division and college policies and procedures. Facilitates the execution and continuous improvement of processes and procedures that ensure quality service and comply with Program, Division and College-wide policies. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a professional and collaborative work environment.
Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community.
