Job Summary:

Supports Business Development Managers and Project Managers by providing training, program delivery, and related instructional support services arising out of sales, according to Community Education and Workforce Development (CEWD) procedures. Provides necessary information and executes interdepartmental communications to ensure the timely delivery of courses. Communicates with internal and external customers, as needed, to ensure quality customer service. Works closely with instructors to collect, compile, and/or record program related customer data necessary for CEWD to evaluate its programs, expenses, and resulting revenues.

Plans and collaborates work effort with team members to ensure that work activity is effectively prioritized and completed in accordance with established procedures. Provides on-site technical and operational assistance to instructors for in-person classes.

Serves as back up support for CEWD registration, pay, invoice, and close out functions. By the direction of the Centralized Services Support Specialist, will perform these functions based on workload, demand, and CEWD needs.

Oversees the work of CEWD student employees, including mentoring, monitoring, and training.

Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community.

Required Qualifications:

Associate's Degree or an equivalent combination of educational and/or work experience

Demonstrated verbal & written communication skills

Demonstrated customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated understanding of working with and troubleshooting computer technology

Experience with all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access)

Experience with special events and conference planning

One or more years of experience in a customer service or related field

One or more years of experience in an academic setting
