Job Summary:

Connecting to these values, the Manager of Enrollment Support Services is a key contributing member to strategic College-wide efforts to improve enrollment and retention measures. This is accomplished by designing and implementing service standards and other related metrics of the Enrollment Support Specialists (ESS) in the StarZone. Independent thought and analytical thinking required to make logical, procedural decisions which support student enrollment and student success. Autonomously identify, develop, and implement policies, procedures, and training documents in support of the Enrollment Support Specialists in the StarZone to achieve efficient and compliant delivery of college policies, procedures, the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), Higher Learning Commission (HLC), and other State or Federal requirements.

The Manager of Enrollment Support Services will work collaboratively with Financial Aid, Registrar’s Office, Center for Academic and Career Pathways, and Center for Student Support to develop and implement services to address student needs. This supervisory position is responsible for onboarding and training new ESS staff and for fiscal management of the department budget.

The Manager of Enrollment Support Services must be culturally competent, especially in interacting and communicating with others from differing backgrounds, cultures, ethnicities, and customs. At all times will model professionalism and respect confidentiality of students and staff.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Demonstrated work experience in customer service.

Demonstrated experience leading the work of others.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior work experience in higher education.

Supervisory experience.

Knowledge working with SIS systems such as Banner.
