Job Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Transportation & Fleet Coordinator is to ensure that the college’s transportation and fleet operations maintain alignment with the organizations strategic initiatives related to Resource Management and Fiscal Responsibility. The Coordinator will continually develop and maintain a Fleet Replacement Program that spreads the cost of equipment disposal and procurement over time. They will establish, coordinate and execute procedures with contingency plans for vehicle mechanical failures, accidents, and weather. The Coordinator will provide leadership for the college-wide fleet of 120 pieces of equipment that are used by college employees throughout 24 different departments across the college for various athletic, academic and student events. The Coordinator will also create maintain and administer contingency plans for all college-wide fleet purchases, maintenance schedules, repairs, and disposals of associated equipment.

Required Qualifications:

Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education/training and experience required

Possession of CDL or the ability to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) within 90 days of hire required

Demonstrated experience with transportation/fleet services or related field required

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience managing a budget

Prior supervisory experience
