Job Summary:
Adjunct Positions are filled by semester on an as needed basis. Applicants in this applicant pool are reviewed when the department has an immediate need to fill a vacancy. Review of applications will then stop for the semester once the vacancy has been filled.
This position exists to instruct students in procedures and policies needed to be a pharmacy technician. Students will learn pharmaceutical language, dosing, medication administration routes, as well as disorders requiring prescription medication. Pharmacy Tech’s are hired in hospitals and retail pharmacy centers.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from a regionally accredited college or university
State of Michigan Registered Pharmacist License – must be submitted prior to issuance of final offer of employment
Significant retail and/or hospital experience as a Pharmacist
