Adjunct Positions are filled by semester on an as needed basis. Applicants in this applicant pool are reviewed when the department has an immediate need to fill a vacancy. Review of applications will then stop for the semester once the vacancy has been filled.
Adjunct faculty teach courses in Sterile Processing including planning, preparation and delivery of lecture/lab/clinical instruction materials at all levels of training. Faculty members also participate in curriculum development and student advising.
Associate's Degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning
International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management (IAHCSMM) Certified Registered Central Services Technician (CRCST) Certification or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) Technician Certification
Minimum 3 years work experience in the field of sterile processing
