PT Technical - Science Lab Technician LCC Downtown Campus
​​This position provides support for the non-teaching portion of LCC Science Department laboratory courses, including Physical Sciences, Integrated Science, Biology, and Chemistry. Responsibilities include purchasing, repair, and laboratory set up of materials for these courses. This position must be familiar with basic science concepts and standard computer operations. Adherence to good laboratory practices (GLP’s), safe handling of material, and compliant disposal procedures is required. Campuses included are Downtown and East Campus.​
Student Employee - StarZone LCC West
The primary role of the StarZone Student Employee is to provide excellent customer service to current and prospective students. In addition, this position will assist with various clerical duties within the Student Affairs Division.
Adjunct Instructor - Physical Fitness & Weight Training LCC West
Teach Physical Fitness courses to students pursuing LCC's Lineworker program. Adjunct faculty in this position teach in classroom and lab settings primarily on LCC's West Campus. Responsibilities include delivering instruction, developing course materials aligned with industry standards, assessing student progress, and supporting students outside of class. Candidates should value collaboration, embrace diverse student populations, and be committed to continuous improvement and the community college mission.
Adjunct Instructor - Japanese LCC Downtown Campus
Adjunct (part-time) faculty to teach courses in Japanese. Depending upon the program’s needs and the candidate’s qualifications, teaching assignments may be on LCC’s downtown campus, at an extension center (within 40 miles of the downtown campus), and/or via online delivery methods. Adjunct faculty are expected to work collaboratively with senior department faculty to develop course content consistent with official course syllabi, to deliver course instruction to students and to be available for student assistance and advising outside of class. Additional responsibilities may include participation in course assessment, department/program meetings, professional development activities and other duties as assigned.
Student Employee - Trades Technology BTAC Grant LCC West
Lansing Community College's Technical Careers Division seeks Student Employee's in their Trades Technology Program. Student employees in this position will work with the Building Training and Assessment Center (BTAC), a collaboration with Lansing Community College, Michigan State University and the Lansing School District., This program is designed to build and expand a knowledgeable and diverse energy workforce pipeline by educating and training college-level students in HVAC, energy systems, and related topics through a structured, hands-on educational experience. The goal is to provide students with real-world experience while making a measurable impact on local K-12 schools and small commercial buildings (under 50,000 square feet) by helping reduce their energy use, operational costs, and carbon footprint.
