PT Lab Assistant - Welding Technology LCC West
Lansing Community College’s Technical Careers Division seeks a PT Lab Assistant for their Welding Technology program. A Lab Assistant functions as the secondary source of instruction in the Welding Lab to support instruction provided by the instructor of record. Assists students in completing lab projects and assignments by providing necessary instruction. Provides evaluation of student performance as requested by the instructor of record. Ensures that the lab is set up and prepared with all required tools and materials for the assigned class and planned instruction. Inspects the lab and classroom area after each class to ensure proper cleanup of the facility. Coordinates the ordering, inventorying, and maintenance of lab supplies, tools, and equipment.
Student Employee Peer Tutor – Nursing LCC Downtown Campus
Peer Tutors will work with the teaching faculty and professional tutors as assigned throughout the semester, engaging in student outreach, facilitating regularly scheduled study groups, participate in on-going tutor training sessions, and department wide meetings.
FT Assistant Professor - Economics LCC Downtown Campus
Teach courses in Economics, consistent with current developments in the discipline and teaching methods. Participate in program/department meetings and divisional/college-wide committees with a focus on continual improvement of programs and learning outcomes. Participate in curriculum and course development, course and program coordination, tutoring and advising students, mentoring and reviewing peers, and College initiatives. Must demonstrate a commitment to the diversity of a multi-cultural population, as well as work effectively in a team-based environment, seeking continuous improvement and adherence to the community college philosophy. The job assignments will include face to face, online, and hybrid formats.
FT Professional Support - Accounting Specialist LCC Downtown Campus
The Accounting Specialist maintains and monitors accounting data entered online, including auditing and reconciling data in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for the College.
FT Admin - Application Systems Analyst LCC Downtown Campus
The Applications Systems Analyst position supports the college’s administrative computer applications. This includes planning and coordinating the implementation and subsequent maintenance of college-wide administrative computer systems and application software used to provide data for college business operations in a timely and efficient manner.
